ASICS Penyagolosa Trails registers 4,791 pre-registrations from 40 different nationalities

The lottery, hosted by journalist Rafa Escrig, will take place this Thursday at 7:00 PM

ASICS Penyagolosa Trails has registered 4,791 pre-registrations for the MiM and CSP from 40 different nationalities, with participants from 47 Spanish provinces vying for a bib number in the lottery that will take place next Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Diputación de Castelló’s reception hall.

The MiM has once again been the race with the highest number of registrations, totaling 4,013 pre-entries for the flagship event. It is important to remember that 1,500 bib numbers will be awarded in the draw. Meanwhile, the CSP has exceeded 600 pre-registrations, reaching a total of 778.

The director of ASICS Penyagolosa Trails, Tico Cervera, wanted to “thank all participants who have pre-registered once again to take part in a new edition of ASICS Penyagolosa Trails.”

He added, “We would love to see you all at the start line, but we must respect the race’s capacity for both environmental responsibility and to ensure you receive the attention you deserve.”

The president of the Diputación de Castellón, Marta Barrachina, highlighted the importance of ASICS Penyagolosa Trails as a key event in the sports scene. “The 4,791 pre-registered participants for this new edition show that ASICS Penyagolosa Trails is a must-attend event on the calendar for trail enthusiasts. A unique event that no runner wants to miss and that places the province of Castellón at the forefront of major mountain races at both national and international levels.”

“The MiM and the CSP have become two benchmark sporting events, leaving an unforgettable mark on the sports community. Two world-renowned races that year after year bring together the best runners to our land,” said the provincial leader.

Next Thursday, the Diputación Palace will host the traditional lottery, where the participants of the MiM and CSP will be revealed. The event, which is open to the public, can also be followed live via the Diputació de Castelló’s YouTube channel and Ingravidos’ Twitch for those who wish to enjoy it from home.
On this occasion, the event will be hosted by Rafa Escrig, a journalist from Castellón known for his innovative and approachable style. Through his YouTube channel and the DAZN program “Dorsal Doce,” he is renowned for telling impactful human stories related to football. His work blends passion, rigor, and creativity, connecting with new audiences.
